June 10th, 2023 was a magical day. We spent the morning enjoying the rural beauty of Newtown, CT at a house we rented with our immediate families, then the afternoon and evening celebrating our love on a stunning, private lakefront in Wolcott. Our wedding party consisted of just the two of us and each of our younger brothers, the best men - small, intimate, and the people we most wanted by our sides. Our ceremony detailed the unique and elaborate story of how we met in grad school and fell hard and fast for each other, leaving not a dry eye in the audience. Our cocktail hour was adorned with both indoor and outdoor games, a passion we share. And finally, we danced the night away feeling so lucky to be surrounded by family and friends who love and support us always.
The Persnickety Bride played a huge role in our wedding day. Between the two of us, we visited six other bridal shops but both ended up becoming Persnickety Brides. The team was so welcoming and listened so well to what we were looking for, something we didn't find at all the other places we visited, especially as a couple with two brides. We're so appreciative of their contributions to our picture-perfect day!
