MEET DENISE FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
As the Queen of this woman run company, Denise is not only the founder and owner of The Persnickety Bride, she is “The Bridal Fairy Godmother” who strives to meet the clients’ needs with impeccable detail.
She started her first company, DBP & Associates, Inc. in 1991 as a sales and marketing organization in the gift, stationery, book and music industries. Denise was a Sr. Buyer for over 1,100 stores and a VP of an entertainment company before going out on her own.

In November of 2001, Denise married her true love and best friend, Cary. Twenty plus years, three children and multiple dogs later, their love and joy have grown.
When she isn’t traveling to New York, Chicago, Vegas for a conference for her businesses, she is enjoying a glass of wine and a good meal out, kicking butt at Barre, raising money for her favorite charities.
From planning her own wedding, combined with her love for wanting to create the same experience for other brides that The Persnickety Bride was born.
Denise is an overall power house of entertainment and hilarity that makes every moment exciting for her clients and her employees.
MEET Emily B.
Assistant to the Queen, Master Mom Stylist and Stationery Perfectionist
Emily has been in Denise’s life (and that of her family) for 15 years. As another “daughter”, she certainly assists Denise in every aspect of the back end of the business, but more over with her genuine caring for others, is excellent at stylizing Mom’s to look their best for their children’s weddings as well as working on perfecting the Stationery and graphics needs of our clients. She is a graduate of Central CT University with a degree in Graphic /Information Design. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, creating art and cosplaying with her boyfriend Josh, and occasionally binging on thriller and fantasy shows.

Future Queen in Waiting - Mini Assistant
Catch Aeryn this fabulous teen on weekends helping her mom, Denise. This mother/ daughter team add hilarity and love of family to every appointment. Aeryn is an all around guru like her mom in locating the perfect dress for a bride, a master “clipper” and just a fun loving young lady. Her favorite things to do (in this order are hang out with multitude of friends, eating good food (even cooking it herself) and taking lovely naps when she is not working or doing things for school).
