FAQS

Our bridal gowns range in price from $1,500 - $5,000 with the many of our gowns ranging between $1,800 and $3,500. Range. We carry terrific lines, and some are made to measure dresses in silk, satin, Italian organza and many gorgeous hand beaded dresses as well.

Just as each bride is a different person, so is the fit on every gown. Therefore, we do not offer gowns for rental. If you are on a budget and looking to save some money, we often can sell a sample gown off the rack as a savings and have sample sales several times a year. Keep taps on our event page for sample sale events.

How much do your gowns cost?

Do you rent gowns?

Ask our consultant if the dress you are trying on can be bought “off the rack” in some instances we can do that and discount between 10% and 40% depending on how long the dress has been in the shop. You buy it and take it that day!!

Do you discount gowns?

Yes! Many of our bridal gowns are designed in the U.S. but to keep costs down are constructed overseas. Because these gowns are intricately created constructed, between shipping, dealing with customs, dresses do take months to manufacturer. Many as much as 6 to 8 months. Good news though, we have a number of designers that keep their top sellers in stock in different sizes. So we can check inventory if you are a “later purchasing bride” and see what is available in different warehouse for these manufacturers (US inventory as well as Europe inventory). We work so closely with many of our vendors we can also turn around some dresses from our Canadian companies in a couple of weeks (depending on the complexity of the dress). The Persnickety Bride work to keep as fussy as our name suggests and wants to be sure your gown is in within plenty of time for alterations and keeping you STRESS FREE!!

Do gowns really take months to arrive?

We recommend starting your search about 10- 12 months before your wedding and buying your gown 10-12 months prior to your wedding date. That way it alleviates any stress on you getting your dress early and best yet getting into.

When should I start shopping?

Yes, we only work by appointment. We want our brides to have the ultra shopping experience as we express our love and gratitude for having you with us. We believe in having a calm, intimate setting and especially listening to our brides and their families and connecting with them on a very personal level. Therefore, setting your appointment, selecting dresses on line that you would like to see, calling us with questions prior to your appointment is all part of the Persnickety way. It is all about you. This is your time. This is your moment. We want all our clients to be the happiest they can be.

Do I need an appointment?

We seem to be busy on Mondays (as we have a lot of health care clients and that is their day off for many of them) Thursday, Friday, Saturday and we take special size groups on Sunday at a fee. We will work with Moms dresses and flower girl dresses during the week only. We are currently to busy with brides on weekends to accommodate Moms and little ones.
