Marc & I have been together since we were 16 years old (coming up on 12 years now!). We knew that when we eventually got married we would want our special day to be unique and unapologetically “us” down to every detail. We started touring venues and absolutely fell in love with the gardens at the Burr Mansion. From there, everything fell into place. The hunt for vendors in a barely post-pandemic world was not easy. I am proud to say we hired some of the best in the business. Not only as the best in their trade, but truly the best people to their core.
The day of the wedding started out loose and relaxed. Marc and I were together the entire day, setting up the venue with our closest friends and family. Despite the plethora of warnings I received against setting up my own wedding, we had a fabulous time. Before I knew it, it was time to walk down the aisle. We were married by the father of one of our childhood friends in an outdoor ceremony followed by the best cocktail hour I ever could’ve imagined (kudos to Maria Scotti & Tiny Bubbles who kept the Prosecco flowing). We danced the night away with the most special people in our lives and continued the party at Barcelona Fairfield into the wee hours of the morning. We had a perfect start to the next chapter of our lives together.
